Mariska isn’t back on set yet, according to RadarOnline.com. The show has had to deal with this by writing her out of the rest of the episode. She might possibly be out of the next episode as well, but it all depends on her health. Chris Meloni told RadarOnline.com that he’s been trying to cheer her up. He said, “I’ve sent her some flirty emails and text messages.”
EDIT: News just in from onlocationvacations.com, filming of SVU was scheduled to be at the United Nations building, March 7, but may now be rescheduled to March 8 or even cancelled due to the reasons stated above.

Mariska has returned to the hospital for the third time since her sledding accident which left her with a collapsed lung. But there is no reason to panic, her rep Leslie Sloane has told the media that Mariska has returned to the hospital after feeling discomfort while filming on the set of SVU earlier in the week and said, “She is undergoing routine tests and expects to be feeling better soon.” There are some reports saying Mariska waiting until filming was finished before she went to the hospital. Filming without her presence isn’t expected to be disrupted. We’re thinking of you Mariska and get well soon!
Mariska has made her first public appearance for 2009 at the opening of Guys & Dolls on Broadway on March 1. Her hair looks gorgeous, defiantly a winner. A sample:

On March 10 Stephanie March returns to SVU to reprise her role as Alex Cabot. Very exciting news, mark this in your diary! Mariska, Chris and Stephanie were photographed filming some scenes on the Upper West Side of New York on Feb 10. A sample:

Our girl is back on the set of SVU. She appears to have lost some weight but is still looking well, given what she has been through recently. Let’s hope she was able to stay warm that day! You can view a few more shots of Mariska and Chris on set here.
Mariska didn’t attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards, for which she was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role as Olivia Benson on SVU. Sadly she lost to Sally Field.
On behalf of the Love Train we would like to wish Mariska a very Happy 45th Birthday! May your day be filled with joy and 2009 be a good year for you! Please leave wishes here or at Mariska’s Official Site.
Deary me, what a terrible start to the New Year. I’m sure most of you have heard why our darling wasn’t at the People’s Choice Awards or the Golden Globes, she has Pneumothorax (a partially collapsed lung). News just released: Richard Belzer has revealed that Mariska is due to be back to work next week and is doing okay. Full details under the cut.
Just to let the visitors know, Love Train will be online very soon. I’m just finishing up some final touches before launching. See you all soon!
