SVU Season 9 will be coming to DVD May 26. It will be a 5-disc box set and retail at US$59.98 SRP. There is no word on any bonus materials. Once Amazon have updated their page it will be linked in the side bar for those who want to pre-order their copy.

Mariska isn’t back on set yet, according to RadarOnline.com. The show has had to deal with this by writing her out of the rest of the episode. She might possibly be out of the next episode as well, but it all depends on her health. Chris Meloni told RadarOnline.com that he’s been trying to cheer her up. He said, “I’ve sent her some flirty emails and text messages.”

Mariska has returned to the hospital for the third time since her sledding accident which left her with a collapsed lung. But there is no reason to panic, her rep Leslie Sloane has told the media that Mariska has returned to the hospital after feeling discomfort while filming on the set of SVU earlier in the week and said, “She is undergoing routine tests and expects to be feeling better soon.” There are some reports saying Mariska waiting until filming …

Mariska didn’t attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards, for which she was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role as Olivia Benson on SVU. Sadly she lost to Sally Field.
