There still isn’t a decision made on Mariska and Chris’s contracts for SVU but they both said some promising words that at the recent 2009 Joyful Heart Gala:
“I hope so,” she told Access Hollywood, when asked if she’ll be returning as the NBC cop drama’s Olivia Benson. “We’re all trying to work it out and I have a lot of faith it’s going to work out.”

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has officially been renewed for an 11th season. Chris and Mariska still have not signed contracts, so no idea if they will be back yet.

Ausiellofiles has just revealed that NBC has nenewed SVU for an eleventh season but the catch is Chris and Mariska haven’t yet been secured… Word is the renewal will be announced next week so hopefully we will get some more news regarding the cast then. Keep your fingers crossed!

Mariska co-wrote an article with John Predergast that was just posted at the Huffington Post. It’s about the next episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, entitled “Hell”. It’s focuses on child soldiers in Central Africa and sex slaves. This episode was filmed a few weeks ago, and it includes scenes shot in the United Nations building, making Law & Order: Special Victims Unit the first television show to be filmed inside the building.

Today, Mariska was scheduled to head back to set! According to People, she is set to work on a new episode that will air April 28th with guest-star Hilary Duff.

There’s a rumor going around that was published about a week ago that Mariska was leaving Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. This rumor is FALSE. It was created by a tabloid that cited the National Enquirer and it included a quote from Mariska that was taken out of context. Thankfully one of her reps heard about it and just confirmed that it’s indeed not true. You can read her rep’s response here: TVGuide.com
